On December 8, 2014, the government of Bohol will launch the tourism campaign “Behold…BOHOL” in a three-day travel fair at the Glorietta Mall in Makati, Philippines.

According to Bohol governor Edgar Chatto, every town in Bohol province has a unique tourist attraction to offer. In particular, the town of Anda is becoming well-known for its powdery white sand beaches and for mangrove-rich Lamanok Island.

The travel fair is part of the Bohol Tourism Action Plan, developed by the province in collaboration with the DOT, the United States Agency for International Development through its Advancing Philippine Competitiveness Project (USAID-COMPETE), the United Nations-World Tourism Organization (UN-WTO), the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and local tourism stakeholders.
